Guyanese Curry Powder

A blend of savoury & sweet spices ~ a complete curry powder blend made with 100% whole spices. This curry powder is the signature blend of Kawartha Spice Company. 

Curry was brought to British Guiana (Guyana) in the 1800s by indentured labourers from India. The ingredients were adapted to the new environment and became a delicacy like no other curry. The flavour is distinctly Guyanese.

Curry Powder can be used to make a full-bodied curry consisting of meat, fish, vegetables, garbanzo beans, mangos, and more or can be sprinkled on any dish, such as omelettes, pizza, soups, rice or any sautéed cooking. The curry powder is aromatic, flavourful and delicious.
